Welcome to Our Farm
Granja Can Cavall Blau is our little piece of heaven, and we’re honoured to share it with friends, visitors and our eleven thoroughbred polo horses. Since 2017, we’ve been custodians of this land, working diligently to regenerate its flora and fauna, adding a gentle, loving stamp of our own.
Our Story
We came to the island in 2017 in search of the good life, and stayed for the possibilities of our four hectares of rugged paradise. Our horses came with us and help us farm organically, sustainably, and with circularity in mind.
Today, we sell our products in establishments across Mallorca, and from the farm at weekends or by appointment, welcoming friends and first-timers who want to come and visit.
On Saturdays and Sundays, we throw open our gates to riders, walkers, travellers, tasters and anyone else who wishes to connect with the island’s true spirit, and meet like-minded folks along the way.
The Land
We farm a total of 4 hectares which include 4,000 vines of the autochthonous Mantonegro and noble Merlot varieties, olive and almond groves, and an uncountable number of trees - bitter orange, tangerine, pomegranate, loquat and bergamot to name just a few. There’s an old mulberry and some native pines, too.
Regeneration
We follow the strict "Delinat method," treating the vineyard as an ecosystem that values and nurtures biodiversity, not monoculture, and focuses on restoring and maintaining soil health. Our plants are fertilised only with compost made from our own horse manure and, we hand-prune and harvest our vines.
Kilometre Zero
Officially registered as an organic farm, we are currently in the three-year "conversion phase". We are proud members of APAEMA, the association of organic farmers of Mallorca, as well as the "Denominación Binissalem" and "Vi de la Terra Mallorca" quality and origin associations.

Tastings
For the curious, the free- spirited and the sociable, we open our bodega for tastings at the weekends, and by appointment at all other times.

Polo Horses
Aside from providing companionship and sustenance for our soil, our equine friends are professional polo horses and part of the family.
